Valley Fire Protection traces its roots to the early 1970s, when Valley Automatic Sprinklers was founded in Elgin, Illinois, serving businesses across the Fox Valley.
The company joined the respected K & S Sprinklers group in 1978, strengthening its position in the fire protection industry. Through the 1980s and 1990s, Valley expanded and relocated within the Chicago suburbs to support continued growth.
In 2024, Valley Fire Protection became part of Viking Fire Protection Group (VFPG) which is powered by by APi Group – a multi-billion dollar company that has been a leader in the Life Safety industry since 1926.
